Here is a challenge for all of you. The article below was just published in the July 19, 2012 issue of Old Cars Weekly News & Market Place. It states that a 1969 Ford Talladega that was junked 25 years ago. A Dewey Brooks of Wonewoc, Wisconsin reports that the car had been sitting in the woods but is now gone. If anyone knows Mr. Brooks or the VIN of this rare Talladega could you please pass the information on to us at the Registry. It is important that we accurately track all of these cars that we can find.
It would also be interesting to know how complete or incomplete this car is as well as what the new owner has intended for it.

About the Author: Some of my first memories and strongest memories of my childhood relate to cars. I still remember back when things happened based on what car I was drinving at the time. I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. I was a Corvette fanatic for years but then discovered vintage American Muscle. These were only built in 1969 and their only purpose was to win NASCAR races using their Boss 429 and 427 power plants complimented with a special, wind cheating, aerodynamic body. The Ford Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II are terrific and historic cars for sure. This site is devoted to them and their owners past and present.
