2012 Talladega Family Reunion

The Olympics are over and summer is unfortunately quickly eating up the calendar and thoughts of fall are in the air. Now is the time to make you reservations for the 2012 Talladega Family Reunion in Chicago November 17th and 18th. If you own a Talladega, Spoiler or Spoiler II you are part of the Family and need to meet your relatives this 3rd annual event.

The first two Reunions were held in conjunction with the Forge Classic Muscle Car Show. Unfortunately, that show is not being held this year. It is said every gray cloud has a silver lining and that is more than true with the Reunion this year. Although we have had two terrific events with Tim Lopata and the Forge Shows we are thrilled that we have been invited to be featured part of this years Corvette Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago. It is arguably one of the very best muscle car show anywhere in the Country. Hotel arrangements can be made directly across the street from the event.

A limited number of free registrations may still be available if you are interested. You should contact Jason Thompson immediately to get more detailed information.

All 1969 Ford Talladegas, Mercury Cyclone Spoilers and Spoiler IIs are invited to participate regardless of condition. This is an exhibition and not a judged show and is a opportunity to share knowledge and questions with other like minded owners.

Contact Jason NOW and see you in Chicago in November!

About the Author: Some of my first memories and strongest memories of my childhood relate to cars. I still remember back when things happened based on what car I was drinving at the time. I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. I was a Corvette fanatic for years but then discovered vintage American Muscle. My wife, Katrina, and I decided we wanted to focus on a unique and rare muscle car. After a lot of research we fell in love with the Ford Blue Oval Aero Cars. These were only built in 1969 and their only purpose was to win NASCAR races using their Boss 429 and 427 power plants complimented with a special, wind cheating, aerodynamic body. The Ford Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II are terrific and historic cars for sure. This site is devoted to them and their owners past and present.
