Front Suspension
Chris Vick sent us some more photos of his Spoiler II restoration. These close up photos of the front suspension on Chris’ Cyclone demonstrate his dedication to detail. Chris wants to point out that all of these natural metal suspension parts are bare metal and not painted, they are all natural finish just like the factory!
Remember when doing a restoration to do your own homework regarding how YOUR car should be done. Depending on the year, month or even day your car was built or the factory it was built in and other variables the correct restoration of your car may not be the same as photos you see on the internet or in books. More than once, in my searches for correct restoration details, I have come across conflicting photos of what were all reported to be a correct restoration. Just because you see it on this site or any other do not assume what you see is correct or correct for your car. If in doubt contact a reputable concours judge with specific expertise in the car you are restoring. Even then, you may find differing opinions from different judges. As an example, the Ford Talladega has two different correct valve covers depending on the date it was built!
Beautiful work and thanks for the photos .
Really nice.
Just awesome. I love the attention to detail here.
