THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TALLADEGA OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE AND HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED, NUMBERS MATCHING. HOWEVER, IT IS DRIVEN AND MAY NOT BE FACTORY ACCURATE IN EVERY DETAIL.

Richard, awesome set of Cyclones, I do have Spoiler envy! My dad owned one of the ’69 Cyclone Spoilers he bought at Tom Yancey Lincoln Mercury in 1969. They had two vehcies there, a “W” nose Cale car (3514V, automatic) and a blue and white Gurney car which I recall had a 428 in it. A gal over in Gate City, VA bought that one, I’d see her cruising Broad St in Kingsport. Our Cale car met an untimely end when I put it over a 35 foot embankment and hit a couple of trees. I was on the way to work in Sullivan Gardens one Monday morning and that mess happened. We bought the wreck back for $500 and then dad resold the carcass to a guy who we understood put the engine in a Ranchero. I have no idea where the pieces are, would be a nice find since the left front end was trashed and there was a nice “V” on the top right down on the seat where I had been sitting (without a seatbelt) before I was thrown out of the passenger side door. Yes, I have a few less than my nine lives left now that I’m 59 years old! Thanks for the work you do on this forum. I’m selling what appears to be a color code car to get the 71 Spoiler my dad has in his garage now up in Kingsport. Love to hear from you if you have the time.
Regards
Rick
