We have just added a new FREE Team Member benefit. We are now issuing Registration Certificates for all cars registered by Team Members. Even if you registered your car prior to becoming a Team Member we will send you a Certificate at no cost. Just make sure when you join you let us know you have already registered your car. A Certificate will be issued for every car a Member registers as long as they are all registered at the same approximate time.
Each Certificate measures 8.5″x11″ and includes the Owner’s name, the make and model of the car along with its VIN. If you include a photo of your car when it is registered the color photo will also be included on the Certificate! If you did not include a photo we will include a graphic image appropriate for the car being registered. Of course, the Certificate will also be signed and dated as well as include the date you registered the car. If you want duplicate Certificates we will also include those for an additional charge of $5 per Certificate. There is no charge for postage.
If you are like me and keep a detailed notebook of that includes photos and documents on your car, this is the perfect addition. These will also look great framed and hung on your office or garage wall. I am sure you have seen sellers on eBay and else where that make a big deal out of having their car listed in a Registry. Now you can have a Certificate that authenticates that listing! On the Talladegas we even provide the VIN’s sequential number in the production run.
All cars in the Registry are eligible for a Certificate; Talladega, Spoiler, Spoiler II, Color Code, GT 500 and even Prototypes and Pilot cars.
If you are not a Team Member and want a Certificate you are out of luck; you must be a Team Member!
If you live in the US, the first Certificates of Registration will be mailed to you sometime in the next couple of weeks. If you live outside the US your Certificate will be emailed to you as a PDF file which you can print out on a color printer.
About the Author: Some of my first memories and strongest memories of my childhood relate to cars. I still remember back when things happened based on what car I was drinving at the time. I grew up and lived in Iowa for nearly 40 years before moving to Southern California. I was a Corvette fanatic for years but then discovered vintage American Muscle. My wife, Katrina, and I decided we wanted to focus on a unique and rare muscle car. After a lot of research we fell in love with the Ford Blue Oval Aero Cars. These were only built in 1969 and their only purpose was to win NASCAR races using their Boss 429 and 427 power plants complimented with a special, wind cheating, aerodynamic body. The Ford Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II are terrific and historic cars for sure. This site is devoted to them and their owners past and present.
